About Choosing a Therapist

Can I ask for a specific clinician?
Yes. Mention the name when you call, and the team will check availability and whether your insurance applies to that clinician.
What does Resident in Counseling mean?
A resident has completed graduate training and is working toward a Virginia license under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
Can I switch therapists later?
Yes. If the fit does not feel right, tell the office and the team will talk through other options with you.
Do insurance plans cover every clinician?
Not always. Coverage varies by clinician and plan, which is why the team checks before you book. Read about insurance.
