Under the clinical supervision of Naglaa Moussa, LPC.

Hello, I’m Nedra, an empathetic and dedicated Resident in Counseling in the Commonwealth of Virginia, working under the clinical supervision of Naglaa Moussa, LPC, as I work toward full licensure. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and adults for a wide range of behavioral and mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, grief, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and more.

I use a collaborative, integrative, and tailored approach to everyone’s unique strengths and needs. I utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and person-centered approaches.

As a counselor, my goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them develop coping mechanisms and improve their mental well-being.

I became a therapist because I like the resilience of the human spirit. If you’re working through a challenge or setback, we’ll talk through what happened without judgment and identify what could help you keep going.
